My car has plenty of life left in it, has been paid off for a while and isn't costing me any money. But I want one of these:
I can grab one new (sans Asian taking picture of the dash cluster) for like $20k with dealer perks, a wicked interest rate, etc. I have plenty for a down payment too so I can use that as leverage- if that works. Does that work?
But I only drive my car on the weekends. My trade-in value would be squat. It's an added expense but I want one I want one I want one!
Also searching for tantrum gif yielded this, too good not to share:

I can't help because I want one too.
The struggle for Italian fun is real.

The answer here is clear. Wait 6 months, save a bit more cash, and if you still want one... ABARTH! It'll the your reward for waiting and contemplating the decision.

They do sound great, sorry I'm not helping.

If its a cabrio, then YES
If hardtop, its not worth it.

Uh, not to rain on your parade here, but I think you came to the wrong damn support group to talk you out of an angry red Abarth.

Fuuuuuck... well it is a Cabrio. The biggest thing holding me back is the color- it's white. Which is weird cause I was looking at white FiST's and FoST's

Poor build quality.

What are you nuts? Buy it and go cruising for hot chicks - this car is the opposite (ha! pun intended) of every penis-compensation machine out there. Unless you're a chick then hot gearhead guys will be all over it and wanting to meet you. Also works if you're gay. So in any case buy it and improve your driving and social lives.

Wait, make sure all your ducks (scorpions?) Are in row. If you can afford it in 6 months and still want an Abarth then ride that Italian Stallion (because scorpion doesn't rhyme with Italian) like there's no tomorrow!

Just showed this to my friend that was interested in a new car.
Now it's unjustified if you do not get one.

Friend just got one (year old with 13k miles for $15k) & its awesome. He doesn't like thats its only a 5spd, but otherwise has been loving it.

You know what I think it is... on that car the white is rather feminine. I prefer the dark gray offered. But thats a great price. And the cabrio is amazing to be in.
Im sorry but what do you drive now?

They're about the same poor build quality as everything else out there. I have less rattles in my Abarth than my 3 series. Only about a $30k difference in price...

I almost don't understand not wanting an Abarth. I am wholly unqualified to talk you out of this.

I've learned this was as successful as an alcoholic getting AA advice at their local dive. Part of me knew already...

Nevermind talking you out of one! What do I need to do to get you in to one? (not helping at all)

Get the Abarth, you won't regret it. I've had mine for two years and it's been great. I'd buy one again in a heartbeat. Perfect city car and comfy on 1,000 mile road trips.
They're practically giving them away now.

Buy the Abarth. I've owned a '13 Abarth (red, leather seats, 17" wheels) since April and it is an absolute joy to drive. I finished a 1200 mile road trip a week back and the car did great working through traffic on the New York Thruway and blasting through back roads in the Adirondacks. I've had zero issues with the car. Don't wait. Just buy it and enjoy it.

This is completely true. The Abarth is a real conversation starter. Can't tell you how often I've been stopped by people asking me about the car.

that stock glubble glubble exhaust. Wonderful. Then the angry braaaahhhpppp I've heard plenty of times by a local one that's in my area.
Those tips needs to get swapped though. I'm not a fan of the little pipe in big pipe
